Last week, the School of Social Science and Humanities, Student Welfare Committee (SSH SWC ) did our first interview and out of the three days, 25 SSH juniors came for interview.
The 3 days interview started on 24th June 2011 till 26th June 2011 from 9 am till 12 pm for the morning interview and 2 pm to 4 pm for the evening interview.
I am quite surprise that SSH SWC this year had broke a small record where there is one Diploma in Journalism (DJR) came for our interview by me and Simon Chan, Ex- SSH SWC Event Director and Shu Kar Keng, SSH SWC WElfare Director..
We did extend the first interview for one day which is on 27th June 2011 ( Friday). The reason why we did it just for one day is because we don't have enough time.
Anyway, although 25 is an odd number and we are targeting an even number which is more than 25 but, I think this is quite a big number....

2011 SBS and SSH Mass Call FULL HOUSE
This year mass call was a little bit shocking where the School of Business Studies (SBS) received over 2000 new students compared to last year a bit lower while School of Social Science and Humanities increased too.

2011/2012 TAR College Mass Call
That day, I posted photos and a video about the rehearsal of 2011/2012 Mass Call. Today I am going to post about the actual day (3rd May 2011).
on the eve before mass call I was facebooking until 5.00 am. so, I never sleep. Took bath then head on to college as early as 5.30 am and reach college main hall at 5.55 am 5 minutes then expected.
Then I ate a light breakfast before starting to shift boxes from the college hall. Then, set up two special counter and then only put on my coat and start to help the freshmen into the college hall. The first mass call starts at 8.00 am which is School of Technology (SOT ) and School of Arts and Science (SAS).
Later by 9.15 am we, the mass call committee accompany the college official including the college principal Dr. Tan Chik Heok in to the hall. Then by, 11.00 am we accompany Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting into the college hall together with the college officials.
Then during the School of Business Studies mass call which was around 3.00 pm, it started to rain and luckily it stops. but, it took few hours later.
