Kelantan is well known for its kind hearted and friendly Rakyat. Therefore, many people espectually the west coast says that, Kelantanise or the Rakyat of Kelantan is kind, sort hearted and so on.
Yes, as a Kelantanise, I do agree that we are friendly, but we have our limits of patients. Don't worry, we are not hot tempted anyway.
Somehow, there are some who labeled us as brainless, violent and many more. This is because Kelantanise vandalised some 216 chairs during the 2009 Malaysian Cup where Kelantan FA met Nergeri Sembilan. In that incident, the gate, toilet and chairs of Bukit Jalil National Stadium where vandalise too buy the Kelantan supporters.
Do understand that the one who did that was the fanatic supporters and NOT all of us who was at the stadium on that day. Many asked me "why when each time Kelantan play in finals they will fight ??".
One might not fully understand the Rakyat of Kelantan if they just come and go. Football is considered as one of the main evens in Kelantan, the others are Tomoi and "Dikir Barat". When our team goes in the field, we expect the best of them. When they loss, we felt disappointed but, the opponent who won the match started yelling "Balik la dah kalah".
Imagine that your state had just loss the game and the supporters are disappointed, then came your opponents made fun of your state. This is how the fight started.
Even some outsiders said that "you Kelantanise like to fight." We don't like to fight but, we dare to fight. We like more peace then war.But, if one came and start a fire, we probably try to solve it. If it is too much then we will dare you.
Here, we respect people and hope that you also respect us. We are friendly, soft hearted but there is always a limit.If one never find trouble then there is no trouble
